Bargate Homes has launched Heritage Place – a £97million scheme that will deliver 322 eco-focused family homes and the final phase of the North Stoneham Park on the outskirts of Eastleigh, Hampshire.
Heritage Place will include a range of three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes, with Bargate Homes, a subsidiary of affordable homes provider, Vivid, providing 124 homes for shared ownership and affordable rent. It represents the housebuilder’s largest scheme to date and will form part of the North Stoneham Park development that will deliver over 1000 homes in total.
Mark White, managing director of Bargate Homes, said: “We are thrilled to unveil Heritage Place to the public for the first time. This £97million development has been in the planning and meticulous pre-construction stage for over two years, to ensure we deliver North Stoneham Park’s most eco-efficient homes, completing the final part of the jigsaw for this exceptional new community.”
“Taking lessons learnt from previous phases, our family homes will feature garages, and there has been considerable design work regarding the elevation treatments and detailing. The 322 new Bargate Homes will enable local people to climb onto and up the property ladder, as well as attracting newcomers to this scenic, historic, and well-connected part of Hampshire. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the first residents to Heritage Place next month.”
Bargate Homes worked alongside Eastleigh Borough Council and Winchester City Council’s Design Review Panel to ensure Heritage Place fully complements the existing residential at North Stoneham Park, with design being undertaken by Fareham-based HGP Architects.
All homes at Heritage Place will be EPC-B Rated, featuring smart thermostats, electric vehicle charging and fibre broadband as standard, alongside high-quality appliances and furnishings.
Once complete, North Stoneham Park will deliver a new community just outside of Eastleigh, providing a new school, sports facilities, a community centre, play parks and a care village for later living, alongside over a thousand homes.
