Lagan Homes acquires Cawrey Homes
The acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Lagan Homes England, part of the family-owned Lagan Homes Group.

Cawrey Homes’ illustrious history spans more than 60 years, with the company having developed over 1,000 residential homes. The acquisition brings a range of attractive assets for Lagan Homes, including several residential sites, commercial assets and strategic land.
The business will come under the Lagan Homes England umbrella, led by Managing Director John Lagan. Commenting on the announcement, he said: “The acquisition of Cawrey Homes is a really positive step for our business and for homebuyers, providing an exciting opportunity to significantly increase our development potential.”
John continued: “This addition to the business will enable us to build on our strong foundations, continuing our active land acquisition programme to deliver more quality homes supported by excellent customer service.”

Lagan Homes England have acquired 6 new sites during the year to date, excluding this latest acquisition. Construction on the first former Cawrey Homes site of 90 units in Ratby is anticipated to start in January, with a major rebrand to follow during the course of next year.
Going forward into 2022, Lagan Group is now set for a record year with over 600 units to be developed and a turnover of over £120m anticipated across its three regions.
